Gallium-68 is used for PSMA-PET to detect prostate cancer. However, the demand of this isotope is high and there is a need for an efficient production method. One way to concentrate 69Ga, which is used to make 68Ga by the 69Ga(p, 2n)68Ge reaction followed by the decay of 68Ge to 68Ga, but high precision isotope analysis is needed to validate the isotope concentration rate. In this study, we used Cu as a doping agent to correct for instrumental mass fractionation and obtain high precision Ga isotope analysis and was also applied to rock samples. The Cu doping method was effective and showed that the rock samples were in agreement with previous studies.
