We have developed a fiber-delivered laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (fiber LIBS) system equipped with a microchip laser for the remote analysis of nuclear fuel materials inside and outside the reactor in the decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power station. This time, we will apply a fiber-delivered microchip LIBS to the analysis of simulated fuel debris mixed with U, Zr, and Fe, obtain spectral appearance characteristics, and discuss the possibility of quantitative analysis.
