新型炉では、再生可能エネルギーと原子力の共存のため、発電を始め水素製造や熱貯蔵といった多様な核熱利用により負荷追従能力を有するシステムの開発が進められている。これらのシステムの事業化を実現するため、熱貯蔵及び熱利用を含む原子炉システムにおける事故時等、異常状態の安全評価技術開発が必要である。本発表では、当該安全評価技術開発において、負荷変動運転中における熱貯蔵設備や熱利用設備の異常発生を模擬したプラント過渡挙動データの取得を可能とする事故模擬試験装置の設計について報告する。
