MHI has developed a micro reactor to simplify the core system adopting all solid reactor concept. The reactor eliminates the coolant accident events, and it enhances to the nuclear reactor safety. This study reports the preliminary core thermal analysis results using the MOOSE framework, a multi-physics simulation environment for reactors, with highly oriented graphite blocks applied as the core material.
