The equipment hatch is one of the containment penetrations from which FP leakage can occur during a severe accident in nuclear power plants. Its narrow and complex configuration of the leak path can cause deposition of FP in the form of aerosol there. The paper shows the evaluation results regarding FP removal effect at the equipment hatch with an experimental approach.
