In heavy particle beam cancer therapy, the accuracy of predicting particles generated by heavy ion nuclear reactions occurring within the body is extremely important. Our previous research has shown that the dependence on the mean field in carbon injection reactions is particularly significant in the cross-sections of particles emitted forward. In this study, we calculate the cross-sections of particles emitted forward in 62 MeV/u carbon injection reactions using Antisymmetrized Molecular Dynamics and PHITS.
