In 2024/3, an internal investigation of the reactor containment vessel of Unit 1 at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant was conducted using drones. e developed a drone that can take pictures in high-dose, dark, and confined spaces, and successfully photographed the inside of the containment vessel.
