The radiation-induced segregation behavior at phase boundaries in stainless steel weld metal was investigated using ion irradiation, and the differences compared with the grain boundaries in the base metal and the heat-affected zone were examined. It was confirmed that Cr and other elements were enriched at the phase boundaries before irradiation, and the amount of segregation varied depending on the orientation relationship. After irradiation, a decrease in Cr and an enrichment of Ni were observed, similar to the radiation-induced segregation at grain boundaries. It was suggested that there was no significant difference in the concentration of Cr at grain boundaries and phase boundaries after irradiation.
