[3D04]Study on Reactivity Control of Accelerator-Driven System by Inserting Void Reactivity

We conducted an initial study on the artificial coolant bubbling for reactivity control in the core of the accelerator-driven system proposed by JAEA. Eigenvalue and burnup calculations were performed on cores with different coolant void volume fraction, and the effects on reactor physics parameters, transmutation performance, and beam current were evaluated. We also presented the policies for concretizing the bubbling method.
