Integral moltren salt fasit reactor (IMSFR) using chloride as molten fuel salt has been proposed and studied by the authors .Research is under way on such subjects as safety, burning characteristics of TRU, three stage TRU transmutation characterisitics, thermophysical properties of molten salt fuel, pyroprocessing of molten salt fuel, corrosion of materials etc.
