This study aims to evaluate the impact of the recipient's receptivity to information on human perception and opinion formation using a survey on radioactive waste disposal. "Information receptivity" is defined as the degree of responsiveness and the likelihood of forming opinions based on the provided information. Prior to conducting a large-scale online survey, a preliminary study targeting students is planned, and its results will be reported. It is hypothesized that students with higher information receptivity will tend to form more positive opinions based on the provided information compared to those with lower receptivity. Specifically, the study will analyze whether students with high information receptivity are more likely to align their responses with the direction of the questions or exhibit significant opinion changes. This research provides crucial insights into how information provision methods influence opinion formation and contributes to the development of effective communication strategies to mitigate biases.
