Shizuoka University has been training radiation protection supervisors with practical skills to respond to radiation regulations and disasters for university and graduate students under the collaboration with University of Toyama, Kyushu University, Gifu Pharmaceutical University, Kanazawa University, and University of the Ryukyus to provide comprehensive radiation measurement and radioactive material handling training. This program provides consistent training opportunities to develop rapid response capabilities to nuclear disasters and aim to generate interest in nuclear regulatory. The program has been focused not only on the students for science and engineering but also those for pharmaceutical and nursing. In this presentation, we will report on the activities and present achievements.
