To investigate the influence of high-temperature exposure on explosively welded V-4Cr-4Ti and SUS316L, post-weld heat treatments (PWHT) were conducted at 500–900℃. Hardness tests revealed the highest hardness of 1290HV in the vortex region at 700℃, while a 1050HV interlayer was formed at 900℃. STEM analyses showed Ti-rich phase at the interface were formed, indicating that the hardening may be due to their formation.
