A survey focusing on interest and understanding of the health effects of radiation was conducted among residents of Tokyo and Fukushima Prefecture. This study introduces groups with significant concerns about the health effects of radiation on future generations. It also demonstrates the relationship between understanding that natural radiation is not zero and understanding of health effects. Furthermore, it discusses the relationship between information literacy, such as dealing with fake information, and understanding of radiation.
