Colloidal alpha nuclides may exist in stagnant water at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station during fuel debris retrieval. Therefore, we confirmed the colloidal species generated under the current assumed water quality. Moreover, we examined the colloid removal performance of the batch type adsorption method using powder adsorbents as an effective candidate technology for removing these colloids.
