Fe-4.6 wt. % Ni-1.7 wt. % Mn-0.7 wt. % Si alloys were irradiated with 2.8 MeV Fe²⁺ ions at temperatures of 573 K, 623 K, 673 K, and 698 K, with a dose of 0.9 dpa and a flux of 10⁻⁴ dpa/s, to investigate the details of the Mn-Ni-Si (MNS) precipitation evolution in the RPV steels. MNS clusters with different chemical proportions were observed by atom probe tomography (APT) at different irradiation temperatures. The reaction of Mn-Ni-Si clusters with dislocation loops and dislocations was observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning transmission electron microscopy energy dispersive spectroscopy (STEM-EDS). These results suggest that the effect of irradiation temperature on MNS cluster evolution may depend on the effect of irradiation temperature on dislocation loop evolution.
