To achieve the selective separation and recovery of radioactive strontium, the pore size of lanthanide coordination polymers (LOFs) was controlled at the subangstrom scale. The Tb-containing LOF exhibited outstanding Sr selectivity and outperformed conventional adsorbents in separation performance.
