[1E_PL04]Impact of Uncertainty in High-Temperature Thermal Conductivity of UO₂ on Fuel Behavior Evaluation

*Yudai Tasaki1 (1. JAEA)
Accurate evaluation of nuclear fuel behavior at temperatures above 2000 K and near the melting point requires reliable thermophysical-property data and their appropriate incorporation into analytical models. This session reviews the current status and limitations of high-temperature property measurements, theoretical and experimental studies near melting, molten-fuel properties, and the effects of property uncertainties on fuel-behavior analyses, and discusses future experimental and omputational needs.
