[2A01] Development of a Phosphate-Based Solidification Technology for ALPS Precipitated Waste.

A phosphate-based solidification method was developed for ALPS precipitated waste generated at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Solidification tests using simulated waste confirmed the immobilization of nearly all added Sr and Cs. The proposed method reduced secondary liquid waste generation to approximately 1/25 of that produced by the conventional method.
