[2F_PL02]Development of a Void Fraction Evaluation Method for Core Analysis of Next-Generation BWRs

As the restart of light water reactors continues to make steady progress, power uprating and enhanced operational flexibility have become key technical challenges for the next stage. To achieve such advanced operation, a deeper understanding of the underlying phenomena is required through more precise core evaluation and reactor kinetics analysis. Accordingly, analytical technologies, including neutronic–thermal hydraulic coupled analysis, are playing an increasingly important role.
Because neutronic–thermal hydraulic coupled analysis requires cross-disciplinary expertise, active discussion and personnel exchange across technical fields are essential. This session will be held jointly with the Thermal Hydraulics Division and will feature presentations on the latest research trends. By promoting interaction between the two divisions, the session aims to expand the community of young researchers and engineers and contribute to the sustained development of light water reactor analysis technologies.
