An estimation model of the radionuclide inventory of contaminated metals generated at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power station is being developed by modelling the contamination processes due to fallout and contact with waters containing radionuclides in a calculation flow. The developed model employs parameters such as the release fraction of radionuclides inside and outside the reactor building and the leaching fraction of radionuclides into the cooling water. In this presentation, the calculation model for the contaminated metals from dismantled treated-water storage tanks is discussed. It aims at an appropriately conservative estimation of radionuclide inventories by Bayesian inference using parameters (radionuclide transport parameters and distribution ratios) based on the analytical data of the wastes, contaminated and treated waters.
