A novel adsorbent for uranium harvesting from seawater was synthesized by chemical decoration of 2,6-bis(2-hydroxymethylaminomethyl)pyridine (H2saldamp) onto polypropylene non-woven fabric. By using this adsorbent, the U recovery from simulated seawater in ppm level has been successfully achieved.
