As part of developing the burnup calculation code system SWAT-X, we implemented a new capability for burnup calculations based on arbitrary evaluated nuclear data libraries. This function automatically constructs detailed burnup chains by directly reading decay data and fission yields from the library, while reaction cross sections are obtained from MVP3 neutron-transport calculations and multigroup cross-section tables generated from any library, enabling diverse reactions to be considered. Using this capability, we built a detailed chain based on JENDL-5 and performed burnup calculations for a PWR UO2 pin cell. The results showed effective multiplication factors consistent with those obtained using conventional chains, as well as reasonable changes in FP inventories reflecting the JENDL-5 fission yields.
