Data-driven decoding of dynamical signal processing of organisms and its genetic basis in real environments

It has been increasingly demonstrated that human activities disrupt the earth's environment and ecosystems, leading to phenomena such as global warming and the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Conversely, the transformation of the Earth's environment and ecosystems due to human activities is feared to attract diseases and impede the establishment of a healthy and long-live society. Thus, human health cannot be considered solely within the confines of human society; rather, a holistic approach encompassing the well-being of the entire earth, including humans, animals, and plants, known as the "One Health" paradigm, is necessary. This symposium aims to promote the cooperation and collaboration between different disciplines and APPW societies, with the goal of developing technologies to predict the interactions and impacts between organisms, including humans, and the environment. Specifically, we will introduce experts in the fields of "Exposome (interactions with the environment)" and "Digital (prediction of pre-disease states and management of emerging infectious diseases)" and share the latest findings, technologies, and global trends to foster discussions and promote substantial collaborations with the Society for Mathematical Biology and the Society of Hygiene.
