The diverse biological activities of life are based on the dynamism of the nervous system. Understanding the nature of this complex system requires a multifaceted approach from the molecular, structural, and functional levels, as well as a comprehensive discussion to integrate the findings at each level. In this symposium, we would like to share various research themes related to the neural basis underlying the activities of life at multiple revels through lectures by the next-generation researchers representing each society. Furthermore, by interdisciplinary discussions, we aim to generate innovative ideas that will lead to elucidate the operating principles of the nervous system, and new methods for medical applications.
