Tue. Mar 18, 2025 11:30 PM - 1:20 AM UTC
Room 12
Oranizers :Sho Aki (Division of Integrative Nutriomics and Oncology, RCAST, The University of Tokyo) and Daisuke Shimura (The University of Utah, School of Medicine, Department of Surgery & Nora Eccles Harrison Cardiovascular Research and Traing Institute (CVRTI))
Organelles, one of the characteristics of eukaryotic cells, not only function as "containers" for biological substances and enzymes, but also dynamically change their morphology and localization to control cellular functions. Recently, it has become clear that organelles play important roles not only in intracellular regulation but also in biological homeostasis. Therefore, new physiological research fields are developing from conventional biological physiology to the analysis of multicellular interactions or organelle-level interactions that cannot be elucidated by single-cell analysis. At this symposium, young researchers in various fields will gather and introduce their research about Organelle-orchestrated multi-mode physiology. This symposium will also provide an opportunity for new researchers to enter the field.
