近年、がん組織の遺伝子変異解析が薬剤選択に有用であることが示され、低侵襲に採取可能な組織代替試料として、血中循環腫瘍細胞 (CTC) が期待されている。一方で、尿路上皮がんは従来法でのCTC検出率が低く、他がん種と比較してCTCの遺伝的特徴に関する知見が不足している。本研究では、尿路上皮がん患者を対象に当研究室で開発してきたMCA/GCM法を用いて単一CTCの分離を行い、遺伝子変異解析への利用性を検討した。
