脂質を混合して作製されたモデル細胞膜小胞であるリポソーム上では相分離ドメイン構造が観察されてきた。動物細胞に特有のステロールはコレステロール(Chol)であり、酵母細胞特有のステロールはエルゴステロール(Erg)である。Erg含有リポソームでもChol含有リポソームと同様に相分離ドメイン構造を持つリポソームが観察された。さらに機械学習によりリポソーム上の相分離状態の識別を試みた。
