【ハイライト講演】 本研究でとりあげる川合層は中部中新統で日本海拡大に伴う海進期の地層とされる．この研究では野外調査と堆積相の記載を行い，海進期の地層がどのような環境変化・堆積過程をたどったかを明らかにするとともに，基盤との高角の不整合・層理と平行な不整合がそれぞれ海食崖・波食棚であることなどを示すものである ※ハイライト講演とは．．．
