企画セッション

本セッションでは、2024年度「GIS教育実践アワード」の表彰式と、表彰者による事例報告会を行います。<br />「GIS教育実践アワード」は、教育現場でGISを活用する先進的な事例を表彰するとともに、表彰者による事例報告会を行い、教材開発に関するノウハウや解決すべき課題などの情報を交換する機会としています。<br />GISの活用能力と習得の必要性は、日本学術会議の提言や学習指導要領、特に高等学校の必修科目「地理総合」において、明確に位置付けられています。そうしたなかで、本事業は、GISの普及と展開を促進し、より効果的なGIS教育の実践を支援することを目的としています。
