Welcome to the 8th International Conference on Bio-based Polymers (ICBP2025)

On behalf of the Organizing committees, it is our great pleasure to inform you that the 8th International Conference on Bio-based Polymers (ICBP2025) will be held at the Plaza Verde, Numazu City, Japan, from November 6 (Thu) to 8 (Sat), 2025.

The ICBP was started at RIKEN, Japan, in 2003. Then, it became a biannual conference held by the organizing members throughout the world, which were at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia (2009), Peking University, China (2011), Hanyang University, Korea (2013), National University of Singapore, Singapore (2015), Yuan Ze University, Taiwan, (2017), and Chulalongkorn University, Thailand (2019). After a six-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ICBP is set to resume in 2025.

The ICBP conferences cover comprehensive and well-structured scientific programs covering the latest knowledge and developments in a wide range of areas related to the field of bio-based polymers and biodegradable polymers.

We sincerely hope you do not miss this opportunity to visit Japan, particularly Numazu City, a beautiful city located at the foot of Mt. Fuji and facing Suruga Bay.
