[Th-A2-G-04] High Resolution Momentum Resolved Transmission Electron Energy-Loss Spectroscopy: Anisotropic Plasmon Dispersion of Gallium Phosphide

We perform high-resolution transmission electron energy-loss spectroscopy on a single-crystal GaP sample to measure its plasmon dispersion. We observe an anisotropic dispersion, where interband Landau damping is observed in one q direction, but not the other.
