[Th-P-10]Coulomb Correlations in the Shift and Ballistic Photogalvanic Effect in TMDC Monolayers

A microscopic theory of the photogalvanic effect in transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers is developed, including Coulomb correlations. It is demonstrated that while the shift contribution is exciton-enhanced, the ballistic contribution, arising from Coulomb scattering, dominates in realistic structures.
