[Th-P-18]Topological Origin of Large Optical Absorption in Obstructed Atomic Insulator h-TMDs

We addressed the topological origin of the pronounced optical absorption in h-TMDs, where the obstructed atomic limit plays a pivotal role. Despite the d–d transition character, obstruction-driven parity inversion allows for a substantial dipole matrix element.
