We demonstrate real-time control of tunnel rate in gate-defined semiconductor quantum dots by compensating capacitive crosstalk. This preserves the Coulomb blockade over a wide occupancy range, which is crucial for enabling different functionalities of the scalable spin quantum computing architecture
