Welcome Reception at Pier Bandai

The ISHOC2026 Welcome Reception will take place at Pier Bandai (Google Maps) from 5:30 PM on October 18.

Located approximately a 15-minute walk from Toki Messe, Pier Bandai is a vibrant waterfront destination where you can experience the local atmosphere of Niigata.

For those who would like to walk to the reception together, ISHOC2026 staff will lead groups from Toki Messe to Pier Bandai every 30 minutes, starting at 4:00 PM. Please feel free to join whichever departure time is most convenient for you.

Alternatively, you are most welcome to make your own way to Pier Bandai and join us directly at the reception venue by 5:30 PM.

 

Why not arrive a little early and take some time to explore Pier Bandai’s lively Japanese market, shops, and cafés before the reception? It is a wonderful opportunity to experience a taste of local Niigata and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. You can find the map and the access of Pier Bandai.
