[ED8-02-INV]High Tc DC SQUID and Its Applications in Magnetic Imaging

For its high sensitivity, wide bandwidth and good low frequency performance, high Tc SQUID has been widely used in biomagnetic signal detection, non-destructive evaluation (NDE) and geophysical survey.
In this paper, we designed and fabricated high Tc DC SQUID, and studied the matching between the SQUID itself and its readout electronics. Then installed a high Tc DC SQUID system for magnetic imaging. Based on the results of finite element simulation, different samples such as industrial metal material, weak current from industrial samples, animal and human heart have been measured and analyzed. At the meantime, the advantage will be analyzed by comparing the SQUID NDE method with other ones.
