CR-related meteorites, NWA7317 (CR6) and Tafassasset, have similar constituent minerals, but NWA 7317 contains fragments of barred olivine chondrules and Tafassasset shows more heterogeneous textures. Tafassasset has more Mg-rich olivine and pyroxene compositions, implying that their source materials were different. Additionally, mineral compositions in NWA 7317 are more homogeneous. Therefore, Tafassasset is more unequilibrated, but may have been more differentiated to crystallize from melt.
