We performed high-pressure in-situ X-ray scattering experiments and force-field MD simulations in order to reveal the detailed structure of sodium silicate aqueous solution. A low-Q peak at around Q=0.6Å-1 was observed in X-ray scattering patterns. MD simulations suggest that sodium clusters are the origin of the low-Q peak.
