To elucidate in detail the origin of andesite magma, we analyze the major and trace element compositions of amphibole in andesite from Quaternary Yufu volcano, located in northeastern Kyushu, Japan, . Previously, we systematically estimated the temperature, pressure, and major and trace element compositions of melts in equilibrium with amphibole in the andesite from Yufu volcano (Okada et al. 2021). Here, we report a method for directly estimating the chemical composition of the endmember magmas of andesite produced by magma mixing.
