We performed homogenization experiments of melt inclusions in zircons separated from a granite sample in the Miocene Miuchi pluton. The melt inclusion compositions obtained through SEM-EDS analysis were granitic and their SiO2 contents were higher than whole-rock composition of the sample used for zircon separation. We used the rhyolite-MELTS geobarometer to calculate the equilibration pressures of melt, quartz and feldspar. Based on the results, we estimated 91±13 MPa (about 3.5 km depth) as emplacement pressure of Miuchi pluton from the compositions of zircon melt inclusions.
