[1BS05-01] Proteomics in Practice: Latest Technologies and Fundamentals of Sample Preparation

The evolution of proteomics technologies has been remarkable, enabling the identification and quantification of more proteins from limited samples and allowing comprehensive evaluation of protein expression levels. In this presentation, we will present case studies of proteomics analysis powered by the latest Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap™ mass spectrometers, as well as mass spectrometry technologies that are rapidly advancing in the field of structural biology. In addition, for non-mass spectrometry users, we will provide an overview of fundamental sample preparation methods and reagents tailored to different analytical objectives, which will be useful when contributing samples for future collaborations, contract research, or commissioned analyses.
