While the rapid evolution of generative AI is bringing innovation to research methods and outcomes, it has become more critical than ever to deeply understand and practice fairness, honesty, and integrity in daily research activities. In particular, ethical challenges such as authorship and attribution for AI-generated research are of growing importance.
This seminar, "Forging the Future: Innovation and Integrity in the Age of Generative AI," will explore how to navigate these challenges and utilize generative AI while upholding research fairness. By examining concerns from the perspective of academic publishers and publishing ethics, we will consider the potential of AI to support research, its appropriate applications, and propose practical measures for maintaining research integrity.
