SSBD is a public repository and database designed to facilitate the sharing and reuse of bioimaging data, supporting processes ranging from the submission of raw imaging data to the sharing of curated, reusable datasets. In this seminar, we will cover an overview of SSBD, updates on its collaboration with international data-sharing networks (Global Image Data Ecosystem; GIDE), practical steps for submitting data to SSBD, and examples of how to prepare the necessary metadata for publication. This session is intended to help you take your first concrete step toward reliable data publication by learning how to prepare for it effectively.
