海外留学から見えたもの

主催：日本生化学会ダイバーシティ推進委員会

ダイバーシティの推進において、「違いを知る」ことは、偏見や固定観念を解きほぐし、円滑なコミュニケーションを築く上で欠かせない要素です。特に研究分野では、異なる視点から生まれる新たな研究テーマが、研究の質を高めるだけでなく、より良い社会の実現や研究コミュニティ全体の発展へとつながる可能性を秘めています。本ワークショップでは、「留学経験」と「性差研究」という2つのトピックを取り上げ、「違いを知ること」が研究者のキャリア形成やダイバーシティへの理解にどのような影響をもたらすのかを、参加者とともに思考を深める機会として開催します。海外留学によって培われた異文化理解や、性差研究から導かれる多角的な視点について、講演者の実体験や研究成果を通して紹介いただきます。「違いを知ること」が研究のあり方や社会との関係性にどのように関わるのかを見つめ直し、多様性を尊重する研究環境のあり方を共に考える場となることを期待しています。
