Ni–Mn–Ga FSMAs exhibit large MFIS (>6%) for high-speed actuators. Ni–Mn–Ga SC particle/metal plate composites were developed to overcome SC alloy limitations. FEM analyzed silicone thickness effects on deformation. Cu/Fe composites were magnetically evaluated. Cyclic tests assessed deformation stability.
