Recently, the AMID mechanism has been proposed as the factor improving ductility with high strength of the extruded Mg-Y-Zn alloys. At RT, the AMID mechanism in worked LPSO enhance the ductility. In this study, tensile behavior at 77 K was investigated to observe the AMID mechanism in worked α-Mg.
