Miniaturized, high-performance electronics require compact latent-heat thermal management. Cu-Al-Ni alloys can be used because they show latent heat during phase transformation, but thermal-cycling stability is unclear. Transformation temperatures and latent heat were measured to evaluate thermal-cycling-induced degradation behavior.
