We fabricated Fe-Pt micromagnets for medical microdevices by transferring PLD-deposited and annealed Fe-Pt films via the LIFT technique. The effects of laser energy density on dot shape and magnetic properties are reported, together with the coercivity reduction attributed to partial destruction of the L1₀ ordered phase.
