CPFEM was applied to DDPM-generated polycrystalline pure titanium microstructures to computationally evaluate scatter in high-cycle fatigue crack initiation. The fatigue indicator parameter (FIP) varied among microstructures under the same stress amplitude, and its correspondence with the experimental S–N curve was investigated.
